Andy’s first book, Pickle's Please! appeared in 2011, published by Running Press Kids. Alec Smart has an all- consuming passion for pickles, or anything soaked in vinegar, and it creates problems with his family and friends. An unexpected adventure at a pickle factory helps Alec sort everything out.
Andy's second picture book for children, Delia's Dull Day, received critical raves from Publisher's Weekly, School Library Journal, and was included among Kirkus Reviews top 27 books for children, K-3, in 2012. It was released in South Korea the following year.
Delia thinks her life is SO boring. But what's that just behind her? Delia's Dull Day is a delightfully funny lesson in mindfulness for children.
Andy's First Middle Grade Book
Released in the US by Delacorte Press in 2015 (and Israel the following year), Henry Hubble's Book of Troubles is the sketchbook journal of an aspiring cartoonist, poet, and quirky journalist who is also a perpetual disaster magnet. This book takes the boy diary genre to a whole other level. At least that's what the critics said...
"Henry’s peppy narrative features amusing digressions and commentary—and occasional potty humor—further enlivened by “Henry’s” interspersed drawings and droll verse, in an entertaining, fastpaced read." —Booklist
"Readers will have much to gain when nothing goes right for Henry Harrison Hubble in this laugh-out-loud journal style account of his sixth grade life. Readers [will] giggle and commiserate with [Henry's] comically chaotic existence."
